2014年以來,“提倡全民閱讀”已連續(xù)三年被寫進政府工作報告,全民閱讀已成為全社會的共識。美麗的校園更是閱讀的天堂,廣大師生渴望優(yōu)質的閱讀書籍進入校園。上海外語教育出版社推出本次“黑布林英語閱讀系列”全國公益巡回講座,聘請該系列的作者、英國專家Jack Scholes 與各地師生探討交流。
圣人言, “書籍是人類進步的階梯”“天堂應該是圖書館的模樣”。閱讀帶給人的快樂和收獲是無價的,而良好的閱讀習慣需要從小培養(yǎng)。相信本次公益巡回講座一定會給各地廣大師生帶去一場別致的閱讀盛宴
Jack has a first degree in Modern Languages from Liverpool University , and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education and EFL from London University . He has over 45 years’ experience in ELT in many countries around the world and is now an international teacher trainer and conference speaker for Helbling Languages. He is
also the author of many books for EFL learners and teachers, including Helbling Readers .
杰克在英國利物浦大學獲得現(xiàn)代語言學學士學位,在倫敦大學獲得英語學習與教育碩士學位。他擁有超過45年的在世界各地講授英語的經(jīng)驗,現(xiàn)在是國際教師培訓師和黑布林語言會議議長,同時也是英語學習者與教師方面的許多書籍的作者,包括黑布林閱讀系列。

There is now a substantial body of researches which supports the claims that extensive reading not only improves all language skills and fluency, but also greatly increases students’ motivation and confidence, and changes their attitudes towards learning another language.
This talk will examine the many benefits of extensive reading for pleasure, and offer guidelines and practical ideas to help you make it an integral part of every language-learning programme.
